We do not see things as they are... we see them as we are. -Anais Nin
A Labyrinth is a meditation or relaxation tool that represents a journey to our center. Unlike a maze which is a puzzle and to be figured out, a labyrinth has only one path which leads you to the center, and then back out again. At it's most basic level, a Labyrinth is a metaphor for life; the journey to the center of your deepest self and back out into the world with a broadened understanding of who you are. Labyrinths are used as a way to quiet the mind, find balance and encourage introspection.
